With Carolyn back down in Devon and not a lot happening I am somehow surviving. There’s always plenty of people to talk to on the towpath and it was good to have a chat and a Diesel fill up from Phil on Coal/diesel boat Hyperion. As we are on our way towards London it’s always better to get everything you need before getting there as it tends to be a little more expensive in the capital.
Walking around the Aquadrone at Rickmansworth and I came across a couple of Billy no mate’s. All the other birds seemed to ignore these two.
The first Goslings that I have seen this year..What a Happy looking family.
It was good to see that there were a few of these signs around. A lot of people do not realise that feeding bread to Ducks and wild fowl is bad for them.
The next day after Carolyn headed back down South who should moor in front of me but Gary and Della on Nb Muleless. As myself and Della chilled out in the Sun it was such a pleasure to watch Gary working hard painting his top box as I drank his Red wine.. Just the ticket. Cheers mate !
Happy Days
