This is the picture of one of our recent moorings by this magnificent Oak tree.
It was only when we left the following morning that we could see how dodgy this mooring was.
The tree was as rotten as an old Pear and the centre of it had completely rotted away. Good job it was a calm night with not much wind.Lesson learnt..Check all trees before you moor and don't moor near a rotten old one
